The following is only of interest for EU Residents: Google might transfer data to the USA in exceptional cases as described above. However, Google is contractually bound to data protection compliant processing with the EU standard contractual clauses. We would like to emphasize that the USA is not a safe third country in terms of EU data protection law. In certain cases, U.S. companies are obliged to disclose personal data to US authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. Therefore, it cannot be excluded that US authorities (e.g. secret services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
