Scott Drake is the Chief Executive Officer of Cordis, where he is leading the company’s transformation and global expansion. He joined the Cordis Board of Directors in 2021, was appointed Executive Chairman in 2023, and assumed the CEO role later that year.
 

Mr. Drake brings more than 30 years of experience building high-performing, commercially-excellent medical device organizations and developing world-class leadership teams. Prior to Cordis, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Spectranetics Corporation (SPNC), where he increased shareholder value from ~$170M to $2.2B during his six-year tenure.
 

Throughout his career, Mr. Drake has served on numerous public and private company boards, including Zayo Group Holdings (ZAYO), which was acquired by Digital Colony and EQT for $14.3B, Paragon 28, Inc. (FNA), ViewRay, Bolder Surgical, and AtriCure, Inc. (ATRC), where he served as Chairman. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of AdvaMed.
 

Mr. Drake is passionate about advancing patient care and improving quality of life through innovation. He was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year™ in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University of Ohio.
